Some FAC members spent a few days in and around Buxton this week. Some of us took a walk from the Ladybower Reservoir, up to the Derwent Valley Dam where Guy Gibson trained 617 Squadron, The Dambusters, to drop the ‘bouncing bomb’ accurately against enemy targets in the Ruhr Valley.
