Upcoming Events

Starting at The Cottage, Harpers Green, Brisley, Dereham NR20 5DR. Followed by lunch at The Old Dairy, Stanfield.

Arrival time at the farm is 9am. We intend to head off for the walk at 9.30am. The walk should take about one hour and is between two to three miles.

The walk heads across the fields into Brisley village. Accordingly walking boots or wellington boots are  recommended as the fields will be muddy. It is also worth mentioning that there are a couple of field styles to undertake during the walk. From the fields there is a path access into the main road through Brisley village, constituting a walk along School Road. At the end of the School Road we walk past the church, along a path to the village hall and then onto the common. The common leads back to the fields where we then arrive back at the start.

Refreshments are available after the walk where we are booked into The Old Dairy, Stanfield for breakfast. Arrival time at the cafe is 11am. There is a short (five minute) drive to the cafe.

The numbers at the cafe are limited to 20 persons. Places on the walk and at the cafe are therefore allocated on a first come first serve basis, therefore please be quick with your responses if you would like to come along. Because of the limited numbers, priority is given to those undertaking the walk being able to eat in the cafe.

Please note that dogs are allowed in the cafe.
