13 cars turned up at our Market Meet this morning. Not many Classics but the lovely 1953 Ford Popular, very original, was a great addition.

14 cars attended the Overstrand village fair which was a superbly organised event. Several people had wins on the tombola and the weather was excellent. The day was hardly bothered at all by morris dancing although there seems to be on ongoing fascination with some FAC members…
The NARS charity barbeque started at 12.30 following the Fakenham market place meeting. 28 members were in attendance. Whilst the heavens did open momentarily but not enough to dampen spirits the weather was, in the main, pretty good. Rally route from The Gallow, Fakenham to The Goat, Skeyton was made up of four cars. The route was a trip of around 30 miles via the A1065 to Bawdeswell, then scooting off the main road to quieter roads via Reepham, Cawston and Aylsham. Arriving at Skeyton at 6.45pm. 30th Charles Clark Rally Nearly 100 cars set off from the Goat Inn in Skeyton on the 20th July on the final Charles Clark Rally. Their destination, after 56 scenic miles was to the lovely holiday complex at Whitehall Farm in Burnham Thorpe. The rally raised £1,570 for the charity YANA. They help the farming…
14 cars turned out for an afternoon at Burnham Market Carnival. Several of us started with the parade through the village and joined other members on the playing field for the event. As ever, the Carnival was very generous with a donation of £100 which will be added the to NARS fund.
40 FAC cars and more members attended the annual Thursford Gala Day. The weather was kind, then not kind and then kind again. And what a great day it was. 24 Club members gathered at The Gallow and set off for a run through Gt Ryburgh, Fulmodeston, Barney, Hindringham, Binham, Warham and New Holkham to our final destination The Lord Nelson in Burnham Thorpe.
