Blessed by glorious weather, we mustered 20 cars for our second meet and display of the year. We were delighted to see a couple of cars that we haven’t seen before and to welcome members from far and wide. Some people travel quite a distance to attend these events which is much appreciated. We mustered 13 cars, German, British, French, Italian and Swedish, for the first Meet and Display of the year. We enjoyed nice enough weather but it was rather chilly. Hats off to everyone who arrived with their rooves down and blue ears. And the new marshalling guidance was well adhered to and worked well.
Over 30 people attended the breakfast at Whitwell Station. It was widely agreed that this is an excellent venue and we will definitely return. The food was exceptional and very reasonably priced. Thank you David for a well organised event. Apologies for the rather poor photography.
Over 30 people attended the Club night at the Gallow. There was an excellent presentation from NARS and a cheque for £2,080 was presented for our charity fund raising activities in 2024/25. This was followed by a presentation from First Focus, our chosen charity for 2025/26.
