We will gather together at the Gallow by 5.45pm where maps and instructions will be given out. We will then depart promptly at 6.00pm. Our route will cover some A road driving before we stop off at a mystery destination were the owner has a range of classic cars for us to view including race prepared cars. The owner will be present to answer any questions and there will be complementary glasses of fruit juice or Prosecco – including for passengers of course!
Duly fortified, we will resume our driving through some of Norfolk’s scenic villages – Hindringham, Binham, Warham, Copy’s Green before finishing at our destination – O’Brennans Cafe at Great Walsingham Barns with an arrival time of 7.15pm and eating at 7.30pm. The Cafe is opening exclusively for us and can seat a maximum of 40 people for dinner. They have a delicious range of quiches and pies (incl vegetarian options) with wine and beers and, of course, soft drinks, teas and coffees and a tempting range of cakes to follow! Those who have eaten there before will know how good the food is and what a delightful setting this is.
As usual where there is a food order, we need to give the owner a weeks notice of our main course orders (drinks and cakes can be ordered on arrival) So we will need these by Wednesday 14th May at the latest. Orders should be made below.
We hope and expect we will have a really good turnout for the first of our evening driving events of the year. If we are over subscribed for the 40 places, these will be allocated based on when the order is received.
